For ages 6 up…..

I first discovered the Go Girl! series when I bought a book for my daughter. Looking inside the cover, I realized the publisher was in Melbourne. I rang them and asked to submit a story. Several drafts later, Surf’s Up was born. Since then, I have written a grand total of eleven Go Girl! books with two more on the way!
One of the most fun aspects of writing Go Girl! books is going into GG headquarters and having a planning day. The Go Girl! world has become quite large, so we have to check how characters might know each other, what schools they go to and lots of other stuff.
Getting the first real copies of a story is great fun too. It’s amazing to watch how artists have drawn my characters.
People often ask me which is my favorite Go Girl! Hmmm. That’s kind of like asking which is my favorite child. My lips are sealed.
I get several emails from Go Girl! readers. The emails help me to stay in contact with real girls, and to think about the things that are important to them. Especially now that my own Go Girl! is growing up! So keep emailing, it’s all about you and your lives!
